Mont Wealth 2025 Investor Lunch
We had the pleasure of hosting the annual Mont Wealth Advisors Investment and Economic outlook lunch at Kooyong Tennis Club on the 19th of March 2025 with a room full of engaged investors.
We aim to continually inform and educate our clients in a collective pursuit of achieving financial objectives.
Shane Lee shared his views on the global economic outlook, the risks to be mindful of and implications for asset allocation.
That then set the tone for the panel of investment experts including:
Qiao Ma from Munro Partners showcasing her skills in identifying Global small cap companies and the opportunities across security, infrastructure, digital media, computing and other "Areas of Interest".
Reece Birtles from Martin Currie Asset Management Australia highlighted how a risk focussed diversified and non concentrated Australian Equity Income portfolio ensures sustainable dividend streams and the extreme valuation gaps to be mindful of.
Philip Joseph from Hamilton Lane discussed Global Private Markets with a focus on Private Equity and how in periods of volatility, private markets provide stability and how the growing investment opportunities in private assets are benefiting investors looking for long term capital growth, and
Nick Langley from ClearBridge Investments Australia shared his many years experience on Global Infrastructure and excitement of the investment opportunities from growing earnings in regulated assets as power and data demands increase.
The audience was then captivated by Timothy Toner co-founder of Australia's fastest growing AI company Affinda. Tim shared how Affinda leverages AI to automate document-intensive workflows, how businesses are unlocking new levels of productivity and efficiency as the AI era takes hold and what the world may look like in 5-10 years.
Planning is already in process for next year's annual event.
